spa at homeCreating a luxurious spa at home is not difficult. It takes a little time and the right supplies and tools is all. Spa treatments can be as elaborate or as simple as you would like. It’s just a matter of your own choices.

Set Your Time for a Spa at Home

Often, the most difficult part for us is to set aside time for our spa treatments at home. Actually, you don’t need to take a whole day or even half a day like you would need at a spa salon. That’s one of the great values of having your spa at home. Maybe your time can only be in the evening when the kids are asleep in bed.

If large chunks of time are a problem for you, try breaking your spa into smaller time sections. Do just your facial one day, followed the next day by a body scrub and tub soak. Then you can take even smaller amounts of time for pedicures, hair removal and other extras. Try to set aside at least 30 minutes for each treatment, but some you may enjoy more if you can take a whole hour for them.

Gather Your Supplies and Tools

When you have everything handy and ready for your spa at home treatments, they will consume less of your time and be more relaxing. Think about searching for where you stored that particular lotion just when your skin is ready to receive it. Stressful and takes more time. Not to mention, you will have lost valuable optimal time for the best use of that lotion.

Having all your treatment supplies handy before you begin will save you time. And save you frustration. If you have them handy in a caddy or box, it’s even simpler for your spa at home time.

Keep Your Supplies Together

Once you start enjoying your spa at home time, you will want to repeat it more often. It’s easiest if you have all your supplies in one caddy or container. All you need to do is pull that one caddy out when the time presents itself.

If you break your treatments into small time segments, then keep everything for those treatments in its own caddy. Like your facial supplies in one caddy while your body scrubs, lotions and bath additives in a separate container. This will make your time the most useful for your spa at home, not for picking out which items you need.

You can even separate your supplies into the different scents. When you make use of your bath and body scents for particular needs, then you want to grab the right ones quickly.

We all enjoy the chance to pamper ourselves. Pampering provides so much for us, including that all-important stress reduction. So make yours the best time you can have.
